Alright ladies and gents, its that time to start off 2011 with a bang, the first thursday night thunder at irwindale speedway is this thursday the 13th, lets all roll deep and show everyone what Camaros are all about !!

WHO'S IN ????

For those who never been there, its a 1/8 mile drag strip where you can lay your foot all the way down to the floor and see what your best time is.......its all legal and tons of fun ........if you want to just come and see the Camaros rule the strip you can, you dont HAVE to be on the drag strip

Open to all street legal vehicles*
Only $10 to Watch or $20 to RACE
Kids 12 -6 • $5.00
Kids 5 and under • Free
Parking • Free

Event format:

Test and Tune racing
Grudge Match racing
Girl Power racing
Burnout Contest

Sounds like fun...I'll see if I can make it! I'll bring it up at the IECC meet tomorrow and see if any of the guys are thinking about going...

I was going to go yesterday as they are usually open every Thursday. Sure glad I didn't drive all the way down there to see they were closed. I did not think to check their calender.

I will definitely try and make it there next week. 99% sure.

4pm it starts so for those of us racing it would be good to get there before so we have time to register ......... keep in mind event is open until 10pm so those of you who get there after 4pm there is no problem you can still race !!!

I'm new to all this but count me in, I wouldn't mind the drive. Is anyone meeting in a specific area so we can all roll in to Irwindale at the same time?
