Have you guys determined a place to eat lunch along the way... I found a BBQ place in Ft Stockton that has room for all the cars, and can feed us all in around an hour... I'm allowing an hour and a half for lunch...

I want to try to meet up at the IH 10 / 20 interchange without either group having to wait... There will be a few folks in El Paso waiting for us, and hopefully to lead us around the city to avoid traffic...

I see where Keith is leaving around 7:30, is that from Ft Worth, or from the house... I know it's a little further for you guys. The San Antonio crowd is leaving SA at nine, and my gang from Central Texas is leaving around 8:00. we will meet up with them near Junction...

The only problem with that is that it is on IH 10, not 20, you guys will be passing well north of us, about 50 miles or so, due north... you might be better served to eat in Odessa. You would have to turn south at Monahans, and it would be 50 miles due south to Ft Stockton...

I would be up for that, but I would check in with Keith and Firefighter1. They may have a better idea... you guys already have a long haul... We will hopefully be meeting up with you guys about 75 miles down the road from there, around 4:30 to 5:00...From Ft Stockton and/or monahans to Las Cruces, it's still 3:45 to 4:00 hours drive...which should put us into Las Cruces between 7:00 and 8:00 if we can keep moving...

You could wait till you get to Van Horn, and eat here...

We did, we are stopping in Ft Stockton to eat BBQ. The guy that owns it is rolling out the carpet.. He'll have a buffet style line most probably and the regular line, and he serves burgers and stuff as well...

The nice thing in my opinion, is that we will be meeting up with you guys there rather than trying to coordinate the meet at IH 10 and IH 20... There will be around 65 Camaro's and over 100 people there... Rick said no problem...

Again, he normally closes from 2 until 5, but he is staying open for us... Doug and I talked and we are going to give him and his employees a Camaro5 T'shirt each...

He has been checking out the threads for this trip, though he isn't signed up as a member... He is keeping tabs on the numbers in addition to me calling and e-mailing him with updates... Ought to be right nice for lunch...
