Hopefully, someone from 808Camaro or 50Muscle club could chime in on their personal experiences with local shops.

I would hate to hear a story about someone spending $xxxxx.xx and not getting what they pre-paid or refunded. Or worse yet, paying and finding out mods were not actually installed.

You can find a good R&R shop to do the work and get a remote tune from more experienced tuners on the mainland, too.

I would strongly suggest Naka'z in Gentry. While I did most of my work on my 5th Gen (he installed my rear end gears), he did a great cam job on my 4th Gen. You will get quality work, but it ain't cheap.

Be careful of shops that talk a good story and make sure you have references that have experience with the shop you plan to use.

Good luck!

Missed you at the last race. If brad didn't show, I would've taken 1st.

I think it was a bad day for some and I got lucky you didn't show. BTW, Brad's tearing it up. Need that front splitter.

Happy Thanksgiving

Is there any Camaro car clubs/meet ups in Hawaii? I just switched from a 2010 Dodge Ram into a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro RS.

I would highly advise you not to go to BSM, A lot of the builds that they have done recently have been poor/not done at all, not to mention there are some who paid for something to get done and are still waiting, (after they found out that the parts were never ordered...) they have gotten a pretty nasty rep around here. I personally wouldn't let them touch my car with a 2000 foot pole.

Thank you for the advice. I heard similar results about BSM from other people.

Hawaii Bill to Ban exhaust louder than stock

Lack of a scientific, repeatable testing methodology with baseline references. In other words, a knee jerk reaction to uneducated perceptions and an election year is coming up. Get involved and contact our legislature.

Anyone looking for some great deals on micro fiber towels and other detail towels, check out this sit.

http://www.theragcompany.com

On Fridays they have flat rate shipping to Hawaii for $8. Orders for mainland on Fridays is free. I ordered some today and they threw in some extra stuff for free.

Within 1 hour of ordering i received an email stating my ordered has been shipped. Pretty fast I think.

Anyone selling a set of ZL1 or 1LE wheels with tires? Figure it's a long shot but trying anyway.

...and I was gonna change my stock exhaust. What if I can install them early and claim that I did so before the bill was passed?
