[QUOTE=The_Blur;316211]I have a few favors to ask:
Take a picture from the driver's perspective of the rear view mirror for me.
• Take a picture from the driver's seat looking back at the rear glass.

you know that Dragon did that at Indy... just FYI

You really have to twist your torso to see that, though. I didn't get a shot looking toward the driver's side, though. The side windows are loooooooong, so much so that the rear quarter is pushed pretty far back. That said, I think most of where you'll be looking is directly left/right. However, I found the rear quarter window to be pretty difficult to spot anything out of. A road test would really help to resolve your concern (which is also one of mine).

Does noone know how to use mirrors? I really don't understand all the complaints about the blind spot when that's exactly what the side mirrors are used for. You're not supposed to turn around and look out the window while you're driving down the street.

Mirrors only tell part of the story. Merging onto a highway or changing lanes can be a nightmare when you can't see what's literally right next to and behind you. Hence, why it's prudent to look "over the shoulder."

A panel van would be the best way to look at this problem. Does it have mirrors? Sure. Can you see anything behind the passenger window when changing lanes? Absolutely not. The mirrors will only cover so much of the picture anyhow. Even someone familiar with a vehicle like that surely has to find it annoying.

It can also be pretty annoying when parallel parking, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc. I'm not saying that there is or isn't an issue, since I haven't driven the car at all. But whatever the case, visibility is a good thing, and you can never get too much of it from within a vehicle.

In any event, it isn't a deal breaker for me .

Yeah, exactly. Sure I do the blind spot check, but I've drive several times with that blocked (vans, trucks etc) and I've never been anywhere near an incident. Just take it easy and all will be good.

Cool Camaro want to knows?

Thanks for the post/offer. I would like to know if the cloth is TAN, is it more on the cream side or brown. I know the leather wont work with my two tone but the cloth may.

I've sat in the car and (although it was stationary) I didn't notice anything abnormal about the blind spots. Seems a lot like other cars. All have a blind spot and it wasn't like "OMFG the blind spot is massive!" by any means. I didn't really even take much note of it.
