Installed yesterday got help from another club member who has access to a lift took 45 minutes from the time the wheels were lifted off the ground to when I turned the key! the directions were great but to be honest it is really straight forward an extra set of hands is a must and a long pry bar and dish washing liquid and water to get rubbers off. there are pictures posted at club thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...94769&page=170 post #4244.

So as for as the sound its great real quiet in the cabin at 2000rpm (I think its better then the stock) NO DRONE as advertised, BUT when you step on it WOW does she come alive and people take note! there are a lot more of the gurgling and popping when you take your foot off the gas (also a head turner) some one said it is like sound on command and I agree!

This is money well spent! SOLO really hit the mark with this one!

Oh and one last thing the HUGE tips look assume they don't stick out too far just enough to let someone know there is something good under there!

If you are considering a SOLO cat back system you will love this one!

Best deal on a solo system is directly from solo. Call them up and mention Camaro5 !

Mine went on today. And unfortunately, no video/audio yet.

Immediately after install, went on dyno, it sounded awesome WIDE open. We did not get before/after dyno results so I can not comment on any power gains (or not...)

Using a Dynocom dynonometer we did three pulls (82.5 F here in PA, beautiful weather). Don't know anything about this brand if it reads high/low, whatever. I'll probably add a CAI next and then dyno again at same place so I'll have a consistent number to work from.

Run 1 371 wrhp 405 rwtq
Run 2 404 wrhp 407 rwtq Waited a long time in between runs 1 and 2 with fans on.
For run 3, waited only 10 minutes and got slightly lower results than #2, 396 hp if I recall.

So my impression is very similar to others:
1) Tips look great!
2) Crusing is at least as quiet as stock
3) After dyno run, took it home and it sat for about an hour
4) Went back out and I SWEAR it got deeper later the same day (though maybe my hearing improved being away from dyno)
5) Decel popping is not obnoxious, but much more noticeable and deeper
6) Idle has a very nice deep, richer rumble
7) It now has a nice burble to the exhaust
8) WOT is loud, but not screaming

And that is a big difference to the other cars I listed to where they literally sounded like Sprint Cup cars when revving, this does not. You can tell its an after market exhaust, its deeper, but it won't wake the neighbors unless you really want to. IMO, exactly as Solo describes and markets it.
