MSRP 37180, price to buy 33,100.

Does that sound good?

Heck, at $1500, I'll take 50 of them and give them away as Christmas presents (well I'd probably keep a couple for myself).

You didn't specify if your friend is interested in a 1LT or a 2LT. Although the price you listed (MSRP 37180P seems to be a 2LT with the RS Package. Both come with a V6 Auto trans. Difference between the two is cloth vs. leather seats (and a few other things).

Is your friend willing to stretch a little for the "RS Package"? For the price difference, I chose the latter as it gives me a little extra stuff. Does your friend want a spare tire ($150 option)? Certain colors also add to the add'l. cost.

Total for my 2LT manual w. RS Package, including destination fee, documentation fee (aaarrrgghhh), sales tax, tags / registration - with USAA pricing (which may have gotten me a slightly better deal) 36k. I'm quite happy with it all (just no one come along and tell me how much better I could have done).

The car is a 2lt RS. Automatic.

FYI....$38195 MSRP for $33275 plus tt&l is the final deal.

She did NOT want yellow or orange. Pulled on the lot and saw the orange, and that was it.

Inferno Orange Metallic/two tone interior/black stripes/black top.

Well, I can tell you, at least here in Austin, they are making deals on the 11's. Got mine a couple of hundred under invoice which translates to approximately 1500 off of sticker. Didn't have to haggle much. They wanted sticker but when it became clear the deal wasn't going to work, they gave me what I wanted.

I don't think it is a coincidence that it was the end of the month and just a week or two from them receiving the 12's and the 45th anniversary model. They need to move 11's which is just fine by me.

Me too, Baba - ignorance can be bliss!

But I think I got a pretty good deal too, about what you mentioned - more 'cause it's a 2SS/RS.
