Springs for a 02' Z28

I only want to lower the front 1 inch and the rear 1.5 inch can anyone tell me from their experience what to go with. I do not want to worry about scrapping the nose driving around. Thanks group......

Eibach is garbage when it comes to F-body springs. I have Strano springs and love them, but you can also check out BMR and Hotchkis. Be sure to get rid of the stock shocks otherwise you will be hating the ride. Koni shocks are the bomb but you'll pay for them (about $700 or so for a set), revalved Bilsteins are cheaper but arent as good.

I agree, eibach springs are crap and notorious for sagging. I personally bought BMR, because I like the stance, and they're on sale (241 shipped). But Strano's are hands down the best springs for FBody's, Im almost ready to sale my brand new BMR's and get a pair of stranos.

If you lower your car the stock shocks wont last very long so do shocks at the same time to save yourself time and money. As said earlier Koni's are the best there is PERIOD. At Strano's website they have them on sale now (just bought a set). Single adjustable rears for 160, and fronts for 260. Or you can go all out and get the double adjustable set for about 700. Bilstein's are good, I dont like the SLP spec bilsteins because they are too soft for my taste.Tokico's are good as well

I have BMR springs. It's a 1" drop all around. The stance is perfect IMO. Ride is comparable to stock. As others have said, upgrade your shocks at the same time. I have Bilstein HD's.

these guys hit the nail on the head. tho no one mentioned Vogtland springs. I'm running them and I love them. well, I'm running them on the front anyway. my wheels are too wide in the back to lower the car until I get around to hacking up my 1/4 pnls.

and to reiterate. do not use stock style shocks with lowering springs. they will crap out in no time and you will be dragging on the ground everywhere.

another thing you can do for a quick and easy "leveling" of the rear is to do the heater hose mod on the back springs. swap out the large rubber bushing and slip a piece of heater hose around the end of the spring and you'll lower the rear approx 0.5"
