Finally got it!!
I love the black when it's clean.....but holy crap I've been wiping it down everyday cause I hate seeing any spots on it!! hahaha |

Well, what do I say? I got lucky.
I placed my order on 6/29 and still was #104 on dealer allocation list. I got a call from Huffines Chevrolet in Plano, TX and was told that they have 3 2SS Camaro's on their lot (Black, Red Jewel and Silver). The Black one was the only Standard they had, so I bought it at MSRP from Jay Taylor/Eddie "Mac" McNight. This car is awesome as some of you already know. I took a few pictures after delivery. Enjoy!!

I have since bought some Red Vinyl and put it on the Bowtie's on the front, back and the center caps. Here are some more pics after I took it home and washed it again. It is hard to keep it clean, but Dang, it is awesome when it's clean..

You can see the order/build path in my signature. Long time coming but finally in this week and at home. Here are some pics I took just to get some while it was new. Included some with my 03 Vette, and also a couple with a visit from forum member "miltp". His yellow 2SS arrived in May. We ordered at the same time but from two different dealers. Mine was held through the second big QC hold in June/July. Mine is IOM, white rally factory stripes, IOM interior, polished wheels. 2SS, 6M.

Finally
Picked up My SIM SS in Salmon, Idaho and drove it home. You know the saying you and the car are as one? Well we are. Best 800 miles I ever drove!
Rally Stripes to be installed next week!

I still don't have my stripes but here is a few more until I get them. I got the cars out today. It was such a nice day and it was so hard to pick one to drive... I didn't! I took both out!  In front of the church we got married in:
