Man I was just going to make a post asking about this. Please put up pics when you can. I'm going to do this if I trade for some stock wheels this weekend.

I came across this website while searching for ideas with Plasti Dip. I am now going to have to Plasti Dip below my lower front grill due to someone (son) scratching it on a high curb. Anyway, this is kind of a neat site:

The how to videos on that site are pretty good. The guy doing the work is pretty proficient at it. I will post pics when I'm able to get to it. I have to wait for the weather to get better or get a garage my car will actually fit into!

I just did my stock wheels this weekend. I took a side by side before and after shot in the garage. I haven't put them on the car yet because I want to give the Plasti-Dip plenty of time to fully cure. I think I'm going to leave the center caps plain as well as the lug nuts.

I've been considering doing a bit of experimentation on my wheels with the red Plasti-dip.

If I don't like the results, this stuff just peels right off - correct?

Nevermind - just saw the video......peels right off!

Yeah, it comes off pretty easily, but also stays on when washing so it's fairly durable. I blacked out all of my bowties and emblems with the stuff first. Looks a whole lot better IMO. But the beauty is I can change it back easily enough if I get bored with it.

Love the plasti dip stuff. I have had mine on for many months and it holds up pretty good. I left the center caps and lug nuts silver and put red stickers on the caps/logo.

Looks good SirMike very clean tire to.

Mine are so nasty gotta clean them, what would be good to use to clean the tire cuz it has lots of sludge material on it, a good layer
