Gas Mileage
I just purchased a 2012 Camaro V6 RS. I had a 2011 Camaro LS model with a V6 before this car. The 2012 has about 750 miles on it and the gas mileage is only about 22MPG highway. My 2011 was getting about 28MPG on the highway. When I bought the 2011 it was used (excuse me pre-owned) and had about 4000 miles on it. Does the mileage improve with useage? I do not drive it hard. I hope it will get better.

Use some premium synthetic and you mpg will get much better
|

Yes, as the motor breaks in, the mileage will improve.

The mileage my 2012 rs/2ss gives me is about 17mpg average, only mods are borla exhaust, maybe i should get better.?..it has approx. 3000 miles on it.

I'm getting 18.6mpg on my 2012 2SS/RS and it has less than 1000 miles on it. Car is completely stock. 17mpg is at the low end of the factory estimates so I'm guessing you have a heavy foot lol.
