Custom LED Reverse lights - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Like many, I have tinted the reverse lights to make them blend a little better with the rear of the car. Since then, I have trouble seeing anything behind me when backing up. I wanted to make the lights brighter but it looks like the only way to do that was the oracle led kit. I'd prefer not to spend 200 on lights, so I decided to come up with my own solution. I bought a couple led strips with the lights that shine out the side instead of straight up. Put a hole in the bumper and mounted them just above the rear diffuser. You can't see them during the day because they are pushed back and under the lip of the bumper. I can finally see behind me and love the results. Take a look and let me know what you think!
