freaking awesome we made front page !!!!!

we are planning it on the 23rd of june ! now things might change last minute if we get rain. so robert and i will keep you all posted ! it would be great to hang out again

Just to give you a lowdown, guys, Cruisin South Florida is one of SFC5's original events. We came up with original events to keep members occupied in times of low activity, and each of our original events caters to a specific element of owning a performance car: driving it, racing it, and showing it. CSF (Cruisin South Florida) caters to the "driving" aspect.

The idea is we start at a random spot on US1, then we drive to another spot to eat, and the destination point can literally be anywhere. The cruise cannot be under ~40 miles since that defeats the purpose, but cannot exceed 70. The fun part about the cruise is that we use Walkie-Talkies to stay in contact with each other throughout the drive, so that way we can point out interesting landmarks, other cool cars, hot chicks (:P), or even just poke fun at each other and mess around over the intercom. The walkie-talkies really do add a lot of zest to the experience, not to mention help out if someone gets left behind.

And another fun part of CSF is that unlike most of our drives, we allow free-for-all driving, so that means no having to drive in a line. If you want to weave or mess around a bit, you're welcome to, provided you don't stray too far from the pack.

We vote for our route via Facebook and Camaro5. Our Facebook is locked off, so TCC5 members that are able to attend are welcome to use our Camaro5 poll seen on our main SFC5 thread. If you're able to make it, your vote counts! We'd love to have you guys attend, since we feel not enough of us got to meet you and see how great you all are.

Our next "BIG" event will be the annual Christmas Party... although maybe we can get another PBIR event scheduled this summer... heat kinda sucks for racing, but it's hard to get everyone together each month... the BBQ was far in excess of our normal showing, we normally produce about 1/3-1/2 that.

I just posted this months thread for the Duffy's car show... we did it last year, had a good time, about 70 cars showed up, 15 from our club... DJ, awards, and 20% off Duffys afterward... as always, you guys are ALL welcome!!!

Gonna be a game time decision for me on SFC5's cruise... weather's a huge factor for the fish tank... I mean vert, and I have some stuff coming up at work that may interfere...

Look forward to seeing you guys again soon!

Sounds good, I'm not sure How the weathers gonna be on the cruise but fingers are crossed lol. If anything we will change it to the following weekend or when it doesn't rain.

I'm gonna try and head up there again soon. Plan it on one of your meets/events
