Who else has gotten the "batman treatment"?
So the other day I'm picking my girlfriend up from a friends house. She was out having lunch with her girlfriends and when they got back I was sitting in the neighborhood waiting. I drove up the driveway after they pulled in and then when I got out her friends were like "Oh my god I love your car!!!"
I'm modest about it and I just say "Thanks" just about every time. I really don't like to talk about my car when it might sound like I'm bragging. And then came the infamous quote "It looks like the batmobile!". I laughed and thanked the girls but in my mind I was shaking my head. I'm not even all the way blacked out yet. And no way in hell would I put those stupid batman emblems on my beautiful camaro.  I know there's more of you who have experienced this phenomenon. We don't drive tanks that have a jet engine on the back, that can run over cop cars and crash through walls, but post up your "batman" experiences if you've had one.

Totally agree. While I love the batmobile comments, I never no how to respond. Don't get me wrong, I love all the compliments - but all I can ever say is thank you, out of fear of coming across as a pompous dick.

I used to think in the late 90's a black WS6 Trans Am looked quite "Batmobile-ish".
I hear ya on the compliments deal. Just have to say thank you and move on without trying to sound like a jagoff!! Haha.

I think every friend I have has now referred to my car as the "Batmobile." At first I thought it was kindof cool, now it's just annoying. It's a blacked out Camaro, doesn't look like any generation of Batmobile!
