AND if you take Hwy 7 as part of your route in Arkansas.....its one of the states SCENIC HIGHWAYS.....and goes through Hot Springs.....BEAUTIFUL roads.....and some pretty nice twisties too! it runs between I-40 at Russelville to I-30 just below Hot Springs at Arkadelphia.

Hot Springs would be cool with me too.

There's a Baymont Inn that's on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, gives us a little scenic route to get back to the main highway too. Thoughts on this?

Been to Hot Springs...it is nice. Highway 40 is hell especially if you have stiff suspension. Closest thing to a dirt road yet called paved highway I have ever driven on.

We have hotel points to burn, I can change our return stay to Hot Springs if need be to tag along but will be staying in some form of Marriott.

The wife is Diamond, and has been for years.....we have been dealing with the same host for nearly 15 years.....she is now a regional host, and works out of the Houston Harrah's office.....We just call her up and its a done deal.

Looks like you will need to take us off the list for the return trip. Just found out that the Indy cars are running at Mid Ohio on Sunday Aug 5th and we can't pass up seeing another race this year. So we will be leaving early Sunday morning to get to the race.
