Bought "Show 'N Go" (manual) - will post when installed

I bought the "Show 'N Go" License Plate Transport - manual version though the powered is way cool - http://www.altecproducts.com/. Purchased via Amazon from Autostuff merchant http://www.amazon.com/Show-Go-Licens...3528444&sr=8-2. Price was $49.95 but I had a promo coupon which made this sweeter...

I did email Altec sales@altecproducts.com & Greg Hickman of Altec indicated they should work OK on the Camaro - we'll see...

I will post when installed, with pictures of course.

Mine will either be in my trunk or under seat, dealer already agreed not to mount the bracket.
I'll take my chances

My dealer said they usually don't bother vettes or camaro's. But who know if you get a grumpy cop that didn't have his doughnut!

LOL. I saw a pic of a Camaro with front plates it takes away from the features of the car. So, like I said above will just leave them in my trunk and if I get pulled over, will just play dumb, lol.

My dealer didn't have the mounting kit so he handed me the plate and told me that they'll call when the bracket comes in. Guess I'll use that as an excuse for now if stopped. When the dealer does call, I might just say give me the kit and I'll put it on myself. It is amazing though how many cars are driving around in CT without a front plate. The majority of them seem to be pickups.

I agree. The ticket is maybe 30 bucks for most states. It is not even a moving violation and won't even show up on your Driver's Lic. It is worth paying for that ticket than having to mount front plates.

Mine will also stay in the trunk no holes in my bumper. If you get pulled over just tell them you just got the bracket. Most cops are cool with hot cars (unless you are driving crazy) then they try to through the book at you!

I got pulled over on Saturday by a cop. I rolled down my window because he circled around me and not behind me, which meant he was not enforcing a violation or stopping me for something I did wrong. He wanted to see my car and ask me all kinds of questions. He did not even say one word about the front plates not there.

So, I think a lot of cops are going to have a lot of respect for this car and will likely not bother you. If you get caught speeding, well that ticket is going to be more of an issue than a no front plate ticket, lol.

As indicated earlier in this thread I bought a manual "Show N Go" front license plate frame system http://www.altecproducts.com/. This morning at my Dealer's Service department we tried to find a way to mount the frame to the underneath bumper - no joy as the angle of the fascia is too steep and there is no flat surface to place the frame. I've included a picture of the front bumper from the car being on the jack.

I've messaged Greg at Altec to see if they're considering a bracket or other solution for the Camaro - I'll let you know what the response is...

So for now I've got my front plate in the glove box with the "We Owe" form from the Dealer for the license plate bracket standard for the car - may help with one or more stops - here in NJ there are often Vehicle Inspection sticker traps so I don't expect to always be lucky to go completely un-noticed...

Thanks for the update. I'm also looking for a solution.
