What are you guys doing to get the skip shift to kick in? It popped up once on me the day I bought the car but hasn't made an appearance since.

This is one place to get it. http://www.pfyc.com/VT6001.html . It goes in the wire harness on the transmission. It takes longer to get under the car than it does to install. Simple plug in. If it is hard to shift into reverse afterwards, it is in the wrong place. Don't ask how I know.

It depends how you drive it. It usually pops up when you are in traffic going slow hence why it prolly hasn't popped up much for you.

You can go to 3rd, I do it all the time. Haven't broken anything yet. Or, you can bump the throttle in the middle of the shift and it turns it back off.

Sorry Chase. If it get's to be a pain, I'll buy one.

Jusy don't granny shift the car. You don't have to hammer the thing, but give it a little more gas in first and the skip shift won't kick in.

This is all you need... No need to pay any more. You just want the good connectors that seal out water. There are plenty of installation instructions with pics on this site if you do a search.
