Nope.

Went to pick her up Monday afternoon. Got to the shop around 430 after dropping off the rental (which was AMAZING btw). They were washing her before delivering back to me. All was good or so I thought. The guy washing my Camaro found a problem. Somehow, someone, damaged the passenger side a-frame pillar (which was NOT damaged to start with). They took a big chunk of clear coat off and damaged the paint there. Owner was livid. I was not too happy either. Owner apologized up a storm and he is fixing that at no cost to me along with Owner paying for a rental (New rental sucks big time) for me until fixed. No insurance claim being filed on this, Owner said their fault he will make it right. Car will be ready tomorrow (Wednesday) sometime during the day but I can't get away from work to pick it up so will pick it up Thursday morning before work.

They did show me the work done to her though. The Front Quarterpanel/Fender and Back Bumper look great. The Passenger Door and Rear Quarterpanel/Fender look good. The new stripes looked good too. The paint is a good match. I can tell that parts have been repainted when I get up close and start looking, but that's because I know what and where to look. Honestly though it is hard to tell, but if you know where and what to look for you can tell. I know it will never be the same as the factory paint, but at least she is not scarred up anymore.

Hoping when I go to pick her up Thursday, no more surprises and that she truly is ready to come home. Miss my Camaro.

Long as she got fixed man thats what counts. Factory paint vs repaint isnt going to matter. She will still ride the same, thats whats going to matter. Nothing will remain perfect forever, I've learned that.

yeah like I said my front bumper looks like its been in a war zone. the war zones are called I-40, 240, and 385!
some day I'll make it right with either a fresh paint job, or I'll just get a zl1 bumper and get new headlights and fog lights.

Got Zooey back early. Manager at the location I was working at today let me take a long lunch and get my car. She looks great. Sooo glad to have her back.
