2013 Exhaust question

I remember seeing somewhere in this forum that the 2013 models for SS were going to have quad exhaust. I just saw a 2013 and it did not have quad exhaust, was I wrong?

The quad tipped dual mode npp exhaust is an option available on the SS with a manual transmission and V6 models. Not available for V8 autos.

so it has to be a manual transmission in order to get this option for either v8 or v6? I have a 2010 V6 auto, will I be able to purchase and install this to my camaro?

On a v6 you can get various types of exhausts. there is a section (some have links with sound). and i want to say a muffler place can install.

You are limited to what GM produces, there are hundreds of different combinations of mufflers, catalytic converters, headers, exhaust tips, exhaust diffusers (the fascia that goes around them).

I have quad exhaust, you can see them in the link in my signature. I bought SOLO axle-back exhaust and added my own quad tips I got off the internet.

I cut my diffuser to fit the bigger tips.

If the exhaust does fit, you will still need a way to control the valves.

There's an NPP in a box that connects to the vacuum line on the intake manifold of the LS3 but I don't know where you would connect that vacuum line on the LLT

I have the factory dual mode performance exhaust and I love it, it makes a nice mellow base lope at idle and will open up and roar when need be by hitting the gas or be a nice mellow drive by the cop car exhaust if driving mellow. You can see a pick in my garage, I think it was a $800 + option, and sounds soooo much healthier than the auto i used to drive in my 2011 vert.
