Not sure who you are asking, but I have CAI and SSSoon (the yellow car install photos) has a CAI.

intake

I have a CAI but can't use it yet - the tube is too short. So right now I am back to the OEM airbox with the extra curved tube that comes with the SLP setup. Will get something fabbed up in early January to make the CAI fit and then will get it tuned by Ted and THEN will take it for a dyno run. Don't expect any numbers till mid-January. I was just south of 370 rwhp before (L99) and am expecting to be just north of 500 when it's all done.

Here is pic before I relocated the heater hoses

Are you driving it with the new supercharger and no change to the tune? Just curious.

I flashed my tune to stock and then emailed it to SLP like they described. The SLP kit comes with a Diablo tuner. SLP updated the tune to match the SC and sent it back. I just know that Ted can do a better job tweaking it to my upgrades, but for now, their tune seems to work fine.

I wonder if they will work off of a modified tune (HPTuners) ?

Are you still running the ported TB? One of the guys at the shop told me that will make it "harder to tune" with the supercharger. I sold my original TB after having it tuned for the cam and headers with the VMax TB on it and I really don't want to have to buy one.

Nobody has mentioned anything about a ported TB being a problem.

I didn't think so, but I wanted to check for sure. The guy who said it doesn't actually do the tune, they work with a guy in California that does it remotely with data logging, just like Ted does it for folks that live at a distance. You are lucky that you live near Ted so he can do it in person. It makes the whole process much simpler.

I wish! I am in VA, he is in CT. It's all long distance. So far everything has been done with datalogging on regular roads, but I might datalog the next time I am on a dyno in a few weeks so he can see it all in action.
