Stage 8 Fasteners

I have a set of ARH 1 7/8 I am installing. Looking at get some of these Stage 8 Fasteners so that the bolts don't come loose. Tried to do some research, but not sure what I need. Anyone else use these and know who I can order these from?

I've gone onto summit racing and http://www.stage8.com/gm.html But I am unsure what part number I need. Seems like it will be about $50 or so which isn't bad. I am just not sure what I need.

or

Either will work fine. Your choice. Hex head or 12 point.

No problem. They work well. Also the stock bolts from GM work well too. You can reuse yours. If you want top of the line at a premium price. That would be ARP. Those run about $100

If your just wanting to make your cars bay look nice then yes it's worth it but they are a PITA. If your worried about the bolts backing out then just use the stock ones cause they won't back out as long as you torque them right.

Your saying ARP is a pita or Stage 8 is the pita? Since this is a summer/show car I would like the engine bay to look nice. One of the guys I talked to said that I will need to retighten my bolts if I choose to go with the OEM bolts and I know that he torqued them down to the correct specs.

Also I notice that ARP has studs and bolts. What would be easier of the two for installation and also look good?

I've used Stage 8 before, but I prefer the split lock bolts.

Stage 8 is grade 8 steel with "locks"

ARP is hardened Stainless steel. Stronger and more heat, corrosion resistant.

Honestly it is all up to you. Stock bolts work just fine and you could re use yours. Or you can buy the locking type that can be a bit of a hassle but do work. Or go with the ARP . All depends on what you want and what you want to pay.

Use OEM gaskets and torque bolts down properly from the inside out and you will be fine. Simply check them again after a bit of driving to ensure they are set proper. This SHOULD be done on ANY new bolt down of parts.
