KDI vs. Cooler Logic vs. Torq H/X - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm looking to upgrade my H/X and was curious if anybody has any insight or first hand experience with the three h/x? KDI, Cooler Logic, and Torq. I am a road racer so not concerned with drag strip cooling. KDI's H/X is so much thicker at 4" compared to Torq's at 2", however, Torq's has a much larger front cooling surface being taller and wider. I also read that KDI's is dual pass, dual core. I know they are all dual pass but are they all dual core?

Any help, insight, or info would be appreciated.

I have the cooler logic unit. Nice,fits fine, and keeps IAT2 in check. No way I can compare the two. It took the company a month to send out the unit. I had the coating applied to it for "thermal dispersing". looked like thick black paint to me.

I have the KDI heat exchanger on mine and it will work great for you on a road coarse.
