Chrysler would have to be profitable and worth something for this to happen. Neither of those can happen until it comes out of bankruptcy, but I'm sure that this would be a great project once it gets on its feet.

yes of course. but just so you know. Chrysler emerged from bankruptcy last week. it was a 42 day bankruptcy.

when the new company gets on its feet and proves to be profitable maybe this can happen.

i remember seeing a Barracuda concept a couple years ago but all it was was just a challenger with a different badge

Maybe I should rephrase. Chrysler needs to emerge from the bankrupt stigma. They still have a terrible image. Maybe they'll start looking better when a few Fiats show up on US shores. I'd hate to see them fail again.

I really like the Charger. I hope they can make it a little more Challengerish. I'd like to see headlights that have less of that squinting eyebrow look and more of that level look on the Challenger. I'd also like to see some more advanced-looking features, like some classy, well-designed LED tail lights or some HID headlights.

In any case, I can't complain about Dodge's design team. They have a clear look that applies to every Dodge. They are branded. Now, they need to sharpen that image with state-of-the-art products. It's going to kill them if they can't come out of this economic disaster with something that screams, "I'm American, and I'm amazing!"

i just googled some barracuda concept pics just for fun, and i prefer it over the challenger.
i find the challenger always looks half asleep, something about the front headlights, that barracuda concept looks sharp.
here's a neat picture i just found

Then they will do something like use parts from the 300 or charger and butcher the interior like the challenger.

Plymouth = dead brand... no way they would badge engineer a current hot selling model to it...

Too bad, I have a 69 I'm restoring that I love.....
