Unhappy broke a camaro comandment

So i was driving down times square in my camaro to pick up the wife, and playing loud(kinda) music and i see people, i assume tourist, taking pictures of my car! But then i felt bad because i have not cleaned the car in like almost 2 months and has a bunch of garage dust and stuff on it, havent even gotten it detailed! I should have drove with a bag over it, dirty car. Its shameful.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels like that. I can't stand driving a dirty car around so self conscious.

To me the commandment u broke was driving it in Times Square! I would be in sheer panic there. All the crowds and congestion and crazy drivers I would be freaking that someone will scratch me! When we go to manhattan it's the wife's car all the way or the train! As a fellow NY camaro owner (although Westchester now) I am really impressed you were able to do that. Especially now that they've made it more for walking/lounging than driving.

Hate driving it when it's dirty. I think everyone is looking at me saying "Wow is that car dirty!" Truth is, no one really notices, except maybe other fanatics like us!

As long as the car is not left unattended, i dont get scared, but at one point there was spill back, as usual, and i ended up at the cross walk, so people were walking all around my car to cross the street, ugh, peoples coat zipper and purses hitting my car. Extreamly tempted to give them a nice little rev, but didnt want them choking on high octane fumes.

I nearly washed mine today...the pollen, as DRitchie said, is in full effect. I painted my calipers this weekend, and just cleaned the wheels and tires good while I had them off. Not worth the time and effort for it to be covered in short time. Plus, I have no option but to park under pine trees at work, so between the pollen and sap...I have a hard time keeping it up.

Washed and waxed my car last week and 1 week later my black car has a yellowish/green color to it from all of the pollen.
