Talking REDLINE MOTORSPORTS TH400 SWAP COMING SOON

By synchronicity I met Howard Tanner President of REDLINE MOTORSPORTS. This past weekend he stopped by my house after delivering a corvette to a Naples coustomer. I wanted him to take a look at my car and review the tune and the car in general. He looked the car over and commented nice work. Then he asked what direction I was going in and I said I want to race it NMCA LS etc. He saw that I was in need of some guidance and pointed out the stock trans sitting between a ERL 427 WHIPPLE supercharged motor and a DSS 9" rearend and said thats not gonna work, then asked if I want to race to win of coarse I said yes. He asked me if I thought about going auto I said yes I bought a 4l80e and then sold it because i changed my mind. Realise Im 55 and a TH400 is the only Auto I know. So Howard said why dont we do a RPM TH400 with a 2 step wired to a transbrake. I was nervous but felt confident with his knowledge of the LS engine Redline would be the only shop Ive allowed to do major work on my car which I have totally disasembled and assembled myself. So this is the beginning of a big step for me. So im pumped up, Pics will follow and some coustom work is comming soon.

RIP THE MIRROR OFF AND DONT LOOK BACK

Howard has a lot of respect for guys who like to work on their cars like me and a lot of insight to see where you want to go.

Mike.

We look forward in being a part of getting you to the winners circle! As you know it takes dedication and patience, something that most don't have to be competitive. Our racing program is most certainly geared for guys like you who are hands on and listen.

After we had our "interview", it became apparent that an auto was going to be needed to be consistent and complete your current drive train arrangement. Once we are done with the installation and final engine calibration, to ease your mind, we will arrange some track time so we can get everything working and get you used to the cars new feel.

Again we thank you for the opportunity to be part of your team!

Howard and the Redline Team
