Rear bowtie delete problem

So I removed my rear bowtie the other day but right where the bowtie was there is like drops of clear coat. Was this caused by the tape from the bowtie or a paint defect? Anyway is there a way to buff them out or something??

I had a black defender worx bowtie but I like the look without it. But I might have to put it back on if I can't fix this problem

Well, if it is clear paint, it can be brought down flat with the rest. I don't know Modesto, but my first thought is Ca, you guys have tons of quality detailing and paint specialist. So I highly don't recommend you try and wet sand that brand new paint job yourself, but I think if you prefer the debadged look for just a little money you can find someone to clean it up for you.

Junkman vids on youtube get into, but he says find a $2000 car to learn on.
