Agreed. It's not that hard to do... For the most part all the screws and bolts are the same size... So it really doesn't matter if you don't put them back in the exact location.... I used a piece of cardboard and just pushed them in the cardboard and labeled them as I removed them.... There is a DIY here..

for th 2012-2013 you do not have to pull the dash just take off the upper dash trim and there are some 7mm bolts, take those out and the whole ac duct will come out along with the leather or suede part

I'll probably take out the dash, but I seriously thought about seeing if a painter could use an airbrush on it. I just haven't gotten around to asking one if it's even possible to airbrush.

Maybe you can try touch up paint... I don't think you'd ever get it smooth though...

Personal opinion is "best to remove the dash"

If you wanted to install a alarm.... That would be the best time... You could really hide the wires and brain....
