Finally it's at the local rail yard
What seemed like forever is over. I highly recommend that none of you track your car once it's on a rail car. It's like watching grass grow. One word, agonizing. Let's see how long it takes it get from the rail yard to the dealer. It's only about six miles away but I'm not sure if transport trucks run on the weekends or if it's going to take time to unload off of the rail car. Salt Lake City has a pretty good sized rail yard.

Congrats to all of you, i feel the pain........ i went through it myself last week. However...... Mine arrived at the rail yard on the 24th and it was at my dealer the next morning. Good Luck!!!

What's worse is working next to the rail yard and seeing your car sitting there for a week now. I go by everyday and it's sitting off to the side.

I know mine is at the last destination or it arrived because the Union Pacific automated 800 number said it had arrived in Roper (Salt Lake City) on June 27th at 4:00 am. When I last talked to the General Manager of my Dealer last Tuesday he told me that he already had the car labled as "hot" so hope that helps. But I don't know if transport trucks run on Saturdays......I'm going stir crazy waiting to hear back.

Thanks. Yep Monday it is. Dealer called. Transports don't run on Saturdays. Oh well, at least I can get on with the weekend. Taking the kiddies to see Transformers 2 tomorrow. I'll sweep out the garage (again) today! LOL

All Camaros are marked as HOT...its been all over this forum for at least a month now. The problem is most railyards only empty the rail cars a few days a week.
