no hate involved..do a search on the web...there are much better batteries to buy at less money that last longer....read and convince yourself.
Optima switched to a diff mfr plant a few years ago, not the same as they used to be.... google "optima failure" |

I read Ur post about that. Do you really think that their value has gone down that much just because of manufacturing location ???

I can name 3 diff marine mfrs that gave up putting them in boats because of failures - Yellowfin, Sea Vee and Intrepid. They now use Odyssey. Odyssey makes a batt for Sears (Die Hard AGM) that is superior to Optima for the same money,.
That being said, unless you are running multiple amps, premium batteries are not really needed in cars....A good interstate, Wal-Mart or Johnson Controls batt will work fine and last. Get as much CCA as you can get. It's the constant sucking the batt down and recharging that kills them. More reserve and the less you pull every day. day. Batts last a long time if they discharge 10-15%, then recharge, rather than 50%... |

I agree with Glen e.. I only use Interstate batteries and have never had any problems.
