I might try these out then when the time comes to buy some new tires....the stockers are about 250.00 ea. these things are 438.00 each...Just better grip on the streets is all I am asking, spinning was kinda cool when I first got the car, but now I want to GO when I hit the gas...

I don't know if anyone was looking for more clarification on how the Michelin tires appear on the ZL1 but I came across a video of someone who has them. Hope this helps.

I see most are doing 295 /315 but some have reported rubbing issues in other threads. And I definitely don't want that. I was thinking I would just do the normal 285 in front and either 315 or possibly the 295 out back.... When looking at the 295 for the rear, I did compare the stock 305 to it and it's attributes are more identical To that then the 315 ..... I wonder why the 295/315 Sizing is so popular? At least why don't people stay with the stock recommended size up front when they offer it.. hmmm... Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

What's the coldest people have used these tires? I recently did some highway driving when it was about 23F and dry (except for the frost). I excpeted the PSI to drop but the strange thing is it dropped after about 25 miles of driving. all 4 tires hit 29 PSI. I stopped by a local discount tire and added a few pounds and they have been fine since, but I found it odd.
Has anyone used these tires in less that 23F?

So are the 295/315 setups on stock suspensions and stock ride height rubbing or not?
Would love some feedback on this before I purchase. I do have some time though cause my car is put away for the winter. But come spring I wanna be ready to go.... Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

Seriously just considering trying the Hankook Ventus R-S3 (version 2 ) tires instead.. I've always like hankooks and they are smart enough to offer are exact sizing we need. Plus I have read a couple of threads now with people saying they are sticky then MSS tires , and handle just as good and the price is a lot more reasonable then the michelins .
Seems like a win win.... any comments? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

Alot of useful info in this thread. However I did notice that with the michelin pss 315 tires (k2) the tread width was only 11" with 10/32 tread depth, the (k1) tread width is 11.5 tread width but 7/32 tread depth. Where as the 305 eagle f1's have an 11.5 tread width. The bfg rivals came in at a 12" tread width on their 315's. So it seems that the overall width of the pss 315's is bigger but the actual tread contact patch is less or the same as the factory tire.
