Just remember, your shifter shaft is not threaded, thus a regular/standard shifter ball will not just thread on. There are universal knobs available, but I personally wouldn't use one as they are usually held on with set screws and can come loose or just don't fit that well. That is unless you thread the shaft yourself then get any shifter ball you what with the appropriate size threads in it.

I have the MGW. Absolutely love it, and haven't missed a gear at the track since having it.

I really don't know......I thought you were just looking for a shifter knob.
I have a place for that.....but like I said, you need a shaft that is threaded (after market shifter), or thread yours. and if you are going to order an aftermarket shifter, ENSURE you talk to a real person to make sure the shifter shaft where the ball goes is threaded, that is if you are wanting a costom knob or at least something different than what comes on it.

Just want a basic, short throw shifter. Doesn't it come with the knob?

Yes, MGW makes short throws for V6, and you can get them from several vendors here or from MGW directly.
They sell a whole shifter assembly and have many choices of knobs too. |

If you decide to thread the stock shifter shaft, here's what I did.
