1LE/ZL1 wheels

These wheels had to be developed by a guy that likes to detail his car. I washed my car for the first time the day before yesterday and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to clean the whole wheel. Very easy to get the brush into the inner barrel. It was also easy to wash behind the spokes. Whole wheel can easily be cleaned without removing it! Good work GM!

Agreed the wheels are very easy to clean. The paint finish isn't all that great. Will look at powder coating down the road

Funny... That's the first thing I noticed when I washed mine as well! Powder coating would be nice.

I will have to take extra care on the finish. But was amazed out how accessible the wheel is.

Just detailed her yesterday. I was surprised at how easy it was to clean the 10 spokes. Enough space to reach back there with ease

I agree! I take my time and am careful not to scratch the paint.

Invested in some wheel woolies. Just showed up today. Can't wait to give them a try. One major difference between the SS and the 1LE is the calipers are smooth painted so dirt comes off much easier without the need for brushing.
