Under the hood vents, is there a drip pan for water? Where does the water go?

When the hood is closed it flows in front of the radiator through the 2 channels on the sides.

It has zl1 wheel liners with the brake cooling duct opening and the ramp at the bottom to throw air on rotor. 2013s dont have that liner.
