Thats okay, though. When I drive vehicles, I like to feel like I am driving substance. Part of the reason why I love camaros so much, because they are smaller but aren't little. I feel more comfortable in something smaller than my truck, but definitely don't want to be driving around a miata or something tiny.

Yeah, I'm with this guy... I would be so furious for the inconvenience and possibility of your ride never being the same (more so probability than possibility)

I hate terrible drivers... I spent most of my day cruising around Detroit today and I saw plenty enough to make me want to never leave my house again.

No air bag deployment?? Well that's reassuring . So you get rear ended at 40-45 mph and not a single airbag goes off ? Guess thats a good place to start if you want the car to loss some weight , cause they are not doing much else sounds like . Glad your ok , No thanks to the Air bags

Hard to believe that's a 45 MPH hit. Car looks great considering the speed.

Yeah, pretty amazing your okay, and the air bags did not deploy.
But if you ended up being okay without air bags, maybe car knows best.

Hope everything works out. Just ended up going through my first accident, and I know it sucks.

Must be another story where you live the old people around here are fricken crazy on the road and the teenagers aren't much better with them it's the distractions with old people it's the over confidence. I'll take door #3 and hope to god neither the old fart or the dumb kid is feeling invincible. Hope you get your car back but i agree that cost already shoulda had the car totaled out.

I believe the seat back and head restraint take the impact from a rear end MVA, the airbag deployment prevents you from going forward in a frontal impact.
He hit his forehead on the visor after he rebounded from the initial impact when most of the impact energy has already dissipated.
I would get that rear facia and mount it in the garage.
