So with the 125 you guys gained using the BTR stage 3 cam and 50rwhp on this, you're telling me that an A6 ZL1 would see 625rwhp on stock boost?
Something's off here Tyler. |

Hello Jordan,
Bravo for your efforts. I certainly don't want to rain on your parade but We have to stand back and really analyze the Data. First We know for sure that ZL-1 Auto cars put down 465-470 RWHP pretty consistently across the board. Your Base line numbers are very low which indicates to me a Hot supercharger IAT2 Without Logging IAT and IAT2 ECT Timing, Knock Retard, LTFTs Manifold pressure, fuel pressure, AFR etc. and including these in your reports, the Test is a big waste of time and misleading to consumers. We have noted significant differences in Power levels on these cars on our dyno all Primarily controlled by IAT which has the largest affect on final Timing value. So if you want to do real back to back testing you have to first Monitor all your vitals, Then stablilize them to a constant starting point. Your final numbers have been noted on many ZL-1 Autos. I only post this in a effort to help you gather more accurate data. Ted.

I agree with you so far as logging everything goes. This particular test was done on the same day within 30 minutes. The car actually sat for a longer period of time before the first OEM Test to the VMAX test and ambient went up 4 degrees. We've since seen an average of 20 RWHP which is inline with testing that others have done and I have all of the data; I just haven't had the time to post it. It was done on the same car and we also logged it with the CAI intake. We have another ZL1 coming in for various things; I'll strap it down and log it before and after replicating the conditions. This has been a great modification for the money and we include them in most of our packages. Kind regards, Jordan Priestley 888.308.6007 |

And I'm not trying to pick on the JDP guys. They support this forum and I've made a few small purchases from them in the past and wouldn't have a problem doing so in the future.
