Red Rock Metallic vs Crystal Red Tintcoat
I just got back from my dealer and they had 2 examples sitting right next to one another. I must say the CRT is way brighter than I had thought. Much more than the older Red Jewel Tintcoat. The Red Rock is more of a bright burnt orange than a true red. When you get real close it looks like a darker sunset orange from a 4th gen. In the shade you can't really tell them apart, they are so close.
Red Rock V-6 in front, CRT SS in back: Red Rock first, CRT second: Red Rock first, CRT second: Red Rock first, CRT second:

This topic had to be one of the hardest decisions I eve made.
... When I ordered my 1LE I originally picked RRM. I really couldn't decide between the two till I walked in the dealership one day and seen a new display car. I believe it was a 2014 Impala in CRT and it was absolutely stunning as the colors/flakes really "popped". Coincidently, it was the same day as the last day, to put in orders for the 14MY before the orders were accepted. So I changed it to CRT and it is awesome. But RRM is still badass looking on a 1LE.

My pics suck, lol. Seeing them in person side by side, made the choice clear to me. CRT all the way!

Here's the RRM 1LE that showed up here a couple days ago. It's ok but I still prefer IOM.
