Weird audio speaker problem.
So I have a 2010 ss and for some reason the front speakers just stopped playing, and the rears seem to play at half power.
I know for a fact the front speakers actually work . I've changed amps and still get the same problem, all audio related fuses checked and changed. I've even gone as far as checked for snipped wiring from the amp to the head unit. My last place to check is the actual head unit. So what I would like to know is if anyone has had this problem? Also if anyone knows where the fuses on the head unit (the non navigation radio head unit) are? Or maybe I just need a new one. Or maybe that isn't my problem all together. I replaced the stock speakers and amp with jl audio 400 and kappa infinity on the doors. All pieces work , just not in my car :/. Thank you. |

I have a 2013 LS (non-ba) and just upgraded all my speakers (All infinity kappas) on a hifonics 100.4 4 channel. I'm having almost the same problem. The fronts play...but when i turn it up they cut in and out and make horrible popping sounds. I switched out the speakers thinking it might be them but it did the same thing so it has to be in the wiring somewhere. Gonna take another shot at it tomorrow.
