Stock SS brake pads okay?
Are the stock 2014 SS brake pads okay for autocross? Looking at the Hawk Performance ceramic if not. Don't want squealing brakes on the street!

DTC-30 and HP+ rear for track use have worked well but I will be going a different route next pad change.

Hawk HPS are High Performance Street pads. LTS are Light Truck/SUV so they are definitely not what you want. HPS are a good all around performance pad but for serious track use you need something more like what Synner mentioned.

I got mine from JDP for a good deal. Or get the part numbers from Hawk's website and use the google machine, plenty of deals out there.

The performance has been fine but the brake dust embedded itself into my wheels and ruined the finish despite having wax and a brake dust release agent applied. I'm fine with being covered in brake dust but I don't expect it to be embedded in the paint so I will be trying something else that's hopefully a tad gentler on the wheels.
