L99 auto to manual swap

I have an auto l99 2012 ss and was wanting to tranny swap for a manual and was wondering since it's still stock under warranty and a fairly new year if Chevy could swap it. If needed if put money down but just a general question.

And have a dealer do it? Highly doubtful and it won't be covered under any kind of warranty.

You can get anything done with enough money but it'll be cheaper to trade it in and buy a stick shift.

To bad they turned the new camaros in to pure ugly imo. Or else I would just buy a new one. If there was a transmission problem and they were going to change things out could I suggest a new tranny if I put a bit down?

I don't think any dealers would do that. I don't think they are allowed to "upgrade" on warranty work. There are several threads here about transmission swaps if you are interested in reading about it. It can be done, but it isn't easy or cheap. Your best bet might be to wait another year or two for '12s and '13s to be traded in on the 6th Gens.

If it's GM approved warranty work, you'll be getting the same type of tranny that it comes with from the factory. If you want anything else, it is all on you.

From what I have found the parts and pices you can find the hard part is getting the computer to understand that it is a manual. It has to be tuned to start
