Seriously, what's the deal with a $120 mark up? Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of what Hennessey designs and creates, but this is simply a mark up. You'd think that if you come on this site and promote a product to the people you want to do business with, you'd at least attempt to make it look like they're getting a good price, not just getting your name on the box that the part comes in for $120 more...

Wow, c'mon we don't like finding out companies are trying to rip us off at all.

Now, if I find out that this other site is selling a knock off of the Ripshifter than I'll eat my words, but if not...

+1.. BUT..
Woman go to the mall, and pay 60% mark up to buy designer jeans, when they could have gone to Marshalls and bought the same exact pair with out a brand name tag.

In this case, you get the same exact thing.. PERIOD. So hey.. if They're (Hennessey), selling these units at their price.. good for them..

Good for them...bad for you. But it's always the responsibility of the buyer to make sure they're going about things the right way...as the saying goes...buyer beware.

Sav1 I agree that Hennessey (or any company) has the right to mark up the products that the promote and sell. It's called Capitalism and we as Americans have claimed responsibility for this consumer methodology, but that doesn't mean you can spin a $120 mark up on a website for enthusiasts and expect to not get slammed a bit for it when we find it somewhere else for that much less (because you know someone on here is going to find it for less if it's out there).

Thanks for posting the reasonable price vendor JPSUPERMAN81!!! During a supposed economic recession (I know, the worst is over) you might think companies would be looking to draw in business, not annoy their potential customers.

"JT" you want to weigh in on this? Remember, I like a lot of what you guys (Hennessey) do, but why the huge mark up?

100% agree with you.
Slamming is fine.. and Hennessy has never came on here complaining about it, nor should they come on and Apologize for their prices. I love capitalism and Also love the fact that you can slam them.

true. (I think sometimes I get carried away a little) haha

All the venting aside, the rip shifter appears to be an product!

Can't wait to see some folks get these installed (maybe me) and then post some reviews.

I am very interested in this shifter, as well as MTI's offering. I want some real world experience with both!
