protective coatings on camaro?

Hi I just got a 10 ss and there is a clear protective coating on the backs of the mirrors and in front of and behind the rear wheels. My local dealer says he is unaware of this being from the factory. Does anybody else have these and if so where do you get them. Mine are looking a little grungy and I would like to replace them. Thanks

It sounds like the prior owner installed 3M paint protection.

It sounds like the prior owner had it install ( Great thinking on their part ), so with that you just save some dinero and now can get some awesome detailing supplies to keep your ride clean and shiny!
