Tapping Oil Pan for Turbo Feed

I'm going to be installing a single turbo kit on my 2010 Camaro SS. The kit I have comes with a 3/8" NPT drain fitting and a 1/8" NPT supply fitting. The instructions are vague when it comes to tapping the oil pan but states that the supply fitting is drilled and tapped into the cast portion of the oil cooler. The turbo is located where the stock airbox is. My question is, where on the oil pan do I drill and tap for the drain fitting? The engine is out of the car, so access is unlimited really.

I've always run mine on the side of the oil pan near the top front with it directed towards a main cap. What kit did you go with?
