SS VS ZL1 (no, not about a real race!)

So I plan on supercharging my SS in the next few months. Now yes I realize the ZL1 has other stuff other then a supercharger which makes it a far superior vehicle. However that is not the point of this thread.

Lets say you take a otherwise stock SSS with the stage 1 SLP TVS2300 (which says 575 crank HP) vs a stock ZL1 which car has the straight line advantage AND WHY?

Just wondering if the SS would have a weight advantage or anything else that would allow it to be faster...

I'd give it to the SS in that situation, due to the reduced weight

We talkin both with same trans I assume and say both on same tires and equal driving skills. Id put my money on the SS. Itd be extremely close but the SS FTW.

I've taken a couple ZL1's with my stock Maggie and no headers etc. I'm only at 525 rwhp.

Thanks for the feedback... I'm really looking forward to getting my SC in the near future!

ClosequarterHSV - How much were you taking them by? How'd the race play out?

Your suspension upgrades that you have already done will definitely help as well, I definitely think you would beat a stock ZL1.
