Saw a fauxmaro SS yesterday
Had the SS badges...but nothing else. No mail slot, and was running the 18" BFG Radial T/A Spec tires.

There is one around here, rocks the 20's has the mail slot, has SS but you can tell from the shifter that it has and the lack of brembo's that it isn't an ss. I like to get next to it and rev to let them know what a real SS sounds like!

so it wasn't someone that had a V8 SS and hated the mailslot and did a frontend replacement? There were a few on here that did that.

Guess he changed his brakes too? I understand that the 18s won't clear the SS brakes.

Here's a picture of my '14 2LT/RS Summit White Fauxmaro. V8 front end, Z28 rear spoiler, '69 Camaro fender emblems, RS emblem in the grill. Not out to be a poser or tryin' to fool anyone. No reason other than I like those pieces better than the ones that came on it. Why didn't I just get a V8? I did, that's my '10 1SS 697RWHP, procharged V8 beside it
