Has anyone installed 2 JLW7 12's in your camaro

I am looking to install 2 of these beasts in my car. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else who has and if you could post pics for the install.

I have one in my car in a ******** Stealth box. Powered with an Alpine PDX1.1000 it is more than enough bass for SQ. For sound pressure two would be loud. I can feel the air move with one and that's with the back seat up. You would need to improve DC current to the amp or amps. Stock alternator isn't enough even with one JL 12W7. Also running Focal KRX2 up front and Polk 6x9's on an Alpine PDX 4.150. Sounds great with just stock head unit and Ipod.

I've heard a few W7 setups and they are pretty loud... But imho they aren't worth the money JL wants for them. There are plenty of other brands that are better quality parts with the same or even better output. Before you get stuck on the W7 do some research first.

One 12" W7 is around $900 brand new with a 1000w rms cap and 29mm Xmax range.
One 12" DC Audio Level 4 $350 brand new with 1400w rms cap and 24mm Xmax range.
One 12" Sundown Audio X-Series $400 brand new 1250w rms and 30mm Xmax range.
Or really cheap 12" Type R 12d4 $250 brand new 1000w rms and 22mm Xmax range.

Just some examples

The last one on that list isn't equal quality by the way... Just good performance for the value

two would be completely overboard for me, have just the one w3 and it is more than enough but not sure what you are going for. SA subs are also good and I considered their subs until i got a really good deal on my w3

There's no such thing as too much bass, ever.

I guess my thing was to do something that few I have seen have done with the Camaro. I say this because I am going to have installed (what I am thinking) one helluva nice crisp sounding hard hitting stereo but also a ride that will boast a lot of power to the wheel (at least i think 700rwhp+). It isn’t a daily driver, and I am hoping it will be a nice piece to drive as well as show at different car shows. Thank you for the help with this but if there is anyone who has two of these in their cars can show pics that would really be great.

How did you like the way it sounded and what were you using to power them with? It is funny you have been the only person that has said they have done this. I feel you are not the only other one to do this but the others just haven't replied as they did. Thank you for responding.

It sounds like we have a few of the same amps and speakers in our car. Do you have any pictures of your install?
