MWS, I'm jealous! 50 ft lbs torque and 50 HP over me.. that would be like adding a shot of funny gas all the time.. your car is going to be the "ferocious black beast"!

That much power is a drivers race.. you too are going to be traction limited and it's the person who can control it best wins between you and RS.. and 2010..

Windy may have an advantage as he has tweaked his auto with the gearing, and doesn't lose time 'cause he doesn't shift the same way as the rest of us.

Damn.. we may need to have an LPE Camaro get together if we all don't show up with cars at the c5fest...

Guys I am not the least bit disappointed, 8 or 9 hp is really nothing when you are over 560. There are other shops claiming 600 without doing the internals, but I am building this car to be trouble free. The whole reason I went to LPE is power with reliability. I also know this is a brand new engine, so over the nest couple of thousand miles as it breaks in I think things will get a little stronger.
Now I just have to get her home.
So busy at work, I think I will email Ryan for some advise.

Burn rubber time for mws.

You might want to try Fred, he may do it if there is something out this way to be piked up.
I think I will give him a call.
I hear there is a a whole bunch of black snakes heading this way any day now.

Congrats on your monster getting done!!! The dyno looks great I am sure you can't wait to get it home. I think I may try and stop into LPE next April before the C5 Fest and have them install a new clutch and shifter and see what it runs on the dyno again. I should have about 7 or 8K miles on it by then.

The Camaro Gods must be shinning on me, I found a carrier!!!
After about ten phone calls one company gave me a name.... Western Autotransport. They have about ten enclosed trucks, and even have a fleet of armored semi transports they use for government work with armed drivers.
Hey if it is good enough for the US Mint I think they can handle an LPE monster Camaro. I will report on the experience upon arrival.
Pickup is slated for Mon or Tue. and a seven day trip....so in about a week and a half those black snakes will be following me all over west Texas.

You've got it!

Thanks everyone, I hope the weather is nice on the big day. I plan on seeing how fast I can be rolling and still break the tires loose.
Looks like a new hot rod for Thanksgiving!

I talked to the truck driver today and he says he is picking up tomorrow!
Nice guy, he used to drive for Fed Ex, said he once delivered two new Ferraris to Lingenfelter for John himself, said He watched him unload them jumped into the first and took off on a test drive, like a bat out of hell. My kind of guy!!

Should have it here by Sunday or Monday as he has to be in CA by Tuesday.
Now if I can stay busy enough the time will just fly by.... I cant wait.

Last two nights have been cold we are talking 19 at night and 65 in the day.
I hope the weather holds like this, perfect for an afternoon snake fest.
