Anyone have one of these on there ZL1 . If so what do you think ? any problems ? I have a 2014 ZL1 with 618 rwhp and I also just put in a AFCO duel fan heat exchanger . I am looking to stay as cool as possible as I am cruising around looking for trouble.... LOL

I've had it on mine for a couple years now, no issues.

That's a relative question, I think it is but not everyone would agree because of cost. I like it because I can see how much is in the system and fill it easier than everyone else can and it looks good. If you do it make sure you add a bottle or two of water wetter in there.

I used my Dashlogic to measure IAT2s before and after. I'm seeing about a 4-5 degree reduction in temps. Temps also appear to recover a little quicker from heat soak. These are just casual observations and not the result of any hard core scientific data. We're having our Indian summer this week so ambient temps have been in the mid to upper 60s to low 70s. The real test will come next summer as to whether or not the extra volume of coolant makes any difference. So far I have to say I'm glad I purchased reservoir.

Top quality piece. I liked it for routing the heartbeat coolant hoses. Much cleaner

Powdercoated. Same finish as the blower. I think they called it sandex.

Made 775/750 through the A6. Got it out the last day our track was open. We still have some trans tuning to do. I had to paddle shift it. Ran 10.40's in over 3000DA. It will for sure be quicker with the transmission shifting itself.

Cool I'm in that same predicament with the trans tuning. Its shifting early for me and im pretty sure its slowing my times down. Only got to run it a once this pass week before the season is over with. When i wanted to make my paddle pass it began to rain

It just seems the racing gods are against a guy. Lol. I got my car the last day the track was open, got in line, 4 cars from the burnout box and the rain starts. None in the forecast BTW. Waited 4 hours then had to run 1/8 mile for a bit. My 1/2 shift point was too close to the limiter, it would hang there so I just paddle shifted the 4 passes I did get. It's an easy fix just have to wait till April to run again.
