Need help with CAI installation
Hey guys. New to the Camaro family and kinda new to the mechanical view of things.
I'm in the process of installing my Roto-Fab CAI that came in today and just need a little help. I'm reading through the instructions right now and on step 2 it says: "...on the right valve cover, disconnect the breather tube routing from the inlet tube to the right valve cover..." I'm having trouble finding the area that I need to disconnect it at. I know where the breather tube is but I'm sure sure of the point where it needs to be disconnected. Either I can't find the inlet tube or right valve cover. If someone could get me a picture of where I need to disconnect it at, that would be great!

just disconnect everything from the stock intake....and then take it off...replace with new one ..and the tubes should be going to.the same places that was on the stock air box

there is a hose coming from the passenger valve cover, going to the stock intake tube. just disconnect it from the actual stock tube for now, when you get the new one in there it will explain itself
and just pull it off, no clip of anything just snap |

I got it figured out. The picture on the instructions looked nothing like what I needed to disconnect. Had to remove the factory breather tube and install one that came with the intake and run it under the throttle body motor

Unfortunately i haven't had a chance to test mine yet, was home watching my son who was sick, i only got to install and do a fuse pull (figured it would be a good idea to Reset the LTFT's after the intake and LT's) but the kid is going back to school tomorrow and i have the day off sooooo party on

Awesome!!! Glad you love it...The stock breather tube is sometimes a little tricky to remove. From the factory there is no particular clocking of the small tab that must be pushed to remove the tube. Sometimes it's on top and easy to access, other times it is on the bottom or off to a side.
