Clicking taping noise

Hey guys I just took my car on a nice spirited canyon drive. I had the windows down and noticed a pretty loud ticking taping noise coming from the drivers side wheel area only when taking hard turns at high speed. It does it while going around a curve to the left and right. Have any of you experienced anything like this. There is no loss in control. The car feels normal and handles the way it always has? Just hoping to hear if anyone has had a similar issue and what the remedy was. I am under full warranty still so I will take in for service soon. I'm putting new tires on tomorrow at my uncle's shop so I will get under the car personally and check the whole front suspension.

Check your tire for a foreign object.

Mine does this since I put new rims on. the ebrake cable rubs on fast turns. you can ziptie it back

There is nothing in or on my tire. It has done this the last few canyon drives it only makes the noise under heavy fast hard turns. My zl1 has 16000 miles on it.

I will check the ebrake cable tomorrow while the car is up on the lift.

I'm not ZL1 master mechanic, but I don't think there are any e-brake cables going to the front brakes. I'm fairly certain the e-brake only goes to the rears. But, I could be wrong.

I don't remember seeing any cables wires ect. While installing my roto fab intake and my big gulp air scoop. Also the noise was happening before I did the mods. It just seems to be louder now in the last few vigorus driving days.

After driving Deal's Gap, I swore I hear something in the right front. Stopped twice and didn't see anything. Didn't hear it after I left. That's not to say that during the cornering it wasn't doing something to make some noise, but without proper equipment, I really can't tell. Get a borescope, some microphones and video record it while driving. Maybe you can determine it then. Otherwise, we're all just guessing.

I just ordered a wired microphone with a wind sock for my GoPro I will be trying the recording process so I can show the dealer the noise it's making.

He never specified whether it was front or back. Mine has that noise in the back so I just gave a suggestion.

Do you have headers? Mine rubbed the passenger side frame rail on corners when under load.

You are correct. I should not have assumed that when he said "only when taking curves at high speeds" he was not implying it was caused by the tire that was doing the turning.
