Manual Seat Option For 1LE?

Anyone else interested in manual seats for their 1LE? The previous generation Z/28 had them so if tradition follows the 1LE could just use the frame rails from the new Z/28. You get more headroom and a minimum of 50 lbs shaved off the weight. Manual seats also feel more connected to the floor to me.. would be fitting to have these as the 1LE is not luxury focused already (no sunroof, no 2SS, stick-only).

The 1LE will come with power seats only.

I know. Hopefully someone from GM reads this and makes it an option.

A power sear does not weigh 50 lbs more than a manual operated seat. It barely even weighs 1/2 that itself.
You would save maybe 3-4lbs

One of the things I HATED about the mustang was that the optional recaros were manual. That's boring, lame and unacceptable in such an expensive upgrade.

On GM Authority it says the seats are "Standard Recaro front seats with aggressive bolsters optimized for shifting and steering comfort."

I took "standard" to mean "not power".

The Recaros are designed to fit healthy people capable of performing seat adjustments by themselves.

You mean it didn't make you feel like you were in a track focused beast

Those of you who are complaining that the seats being power adjustable makes this car too soft need to go pick up a 5th gen Z/28 w/o A/C and Radio. Hope you enjoy those manual recaros when you get carved up by a 1LE with power seats, A/C, and apple car play. That's right enjoy the "stripped out track car" that weights more than the 1LE with less features.

Personally I prefer the infinite adjust ability of power seats instead of being limited to the notched positions of a manual seat.

I believe in this context "Standard" is "it comes that way, there is no other option"

they also list;
"Standard dual mode exhaust system"
I don't think they will have us pulling a lever to open the exhaust...or would they

Oh shit, you're right. I was reading it the way I wanted it to be, instead of what it actually is.

Strangely enough, the manual Recaros in the Gen 5 Z/28 had less headroom than the power Recaros in the 1LE or ZL1. I shopped all of these cars very thoroughly before deciding to wait for the Gen6 1LE...

You have sat in a 1LE or ZL1? How was the fit? I'm a big dude 6' 2" 250, hoping I fit ok as it's not a daily driver...or I guess I'll be trading for 2SS seats lol.
