Belt slip SLP tvs230p
Hey guys. Right now I'm at about 13psi with a 3.2 pulley . I'm thinking about going on higher boost but don't know if I will start getting belt slip . I have the innovators west 10% od harmonic balancer and it might be the jre or ECS pulley tensioner. Car made 600whp as is. As far as fuel goes I have 85lb injectors and adm dual pump. Stock cubes forged motor.

Are you sure it's not slipping now? At 13psi with a healthy blower cam and bolt-ons, seems like it should show a little more power. Or is your compression ratio way less than stock?

Doesn't seem like it. Are you in the golden triangle old motorhead?

Im running the 2.8 pulley on JRE's super tensioner with no belt slip. 12psi. Lower compression on fully built motor. 675rwhp with JRE Blower Cam

Before building the motor in august i was 13.4 psi on 3.0 pulley with the JRE tensioner and that was without a cam and i was putting down 602rwhp with torco.

I'm out in the rice fields just west of Houston. It's kinda hard to tell because it typically doesn't slip at lower rpm when you can stare at the gauge a little. Mine started slipping at 5500 rpm....just when you need to be more worried about keeping the dang thing between the ditches. It showed up really well when the dyno operator logged boost too.
